Existential Coaching Psychology Concept

NECP concept positions the human drive to generate authentic life and paradigms of meaning at the center of the human experience. We are part of the International Society for Coaching Psychology group of scholars and scientist/practitioners who are concerned in promoting Coaching Psychology as an evidence based multidisciplinary body of knowledge and practice. We are also partners of the International Society for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis. We  use advanced psychotherapy and coaching techniques to enhance  the formation of meaningful creative life and the personal growth of the coachee.

Like other existential coaching schools we do not focus only on transformation of the individual’s conflicting and negative life events into positive attitudes as some positive psychology and coaching schools suggest. Rather, existential coaching approach examines the entire spectrum of the human experience. The existential coach considers the existential conflicts and anxieties inherent in the human condition as an opportunity to fulfill and realize more meaningful life.

NECP’s  approach considers the human need to generate meanings as evolving from an evolutionary-developmental process and not only from a philosophical outlook. We maintain that the human tendency to generate paradigms of meanings derives, at the outset of life, from a survival need,   transforming later in life into a social-cultural, and thereafter, individual and spiritual-transcendental motivation inherent in the existential human condition.
